Available dates: July, 31 - FRIDAY - 19:00pm Avon Lagoon August, 17 - MONDAY - 19:00pm Avon Lagoon Float Therapy is a gentle, guided outdoor swimming session designed to help you fully unwind under the summer evening sky. Using pool noodle floats for support, you’ll be invited to lie back in the water and let go, accompanied by calming relaxation music to help you switch off and reset. There’s no pressure, just space to breathe, float and be held by the water. We’ll finish with an optional short, mindful swim together, leaving you refreshed, grounded and deeply relaxed. * Completion of the Cold Water Safety Induction is required for other guided experiences. The Theory of the Cold Water Safety Induction is now available online for those who prefer to learn at their own pace or cannot attend an in-person induction. Visit Education in the website menu and select Essential Guide to Cold Water Therapy & Wild Swimming (Cold Water Safety Induction). * It is always recommended to get a medical check up before starting cold water therapy * The water is cold! Consider wearing a wetsuit if you are not acclimatised * Tow floats for some dips are essential * What to bring, where to meet, access considerations and everything else you need to know will be detailed in your confirmation email. * Access - Moderate, mostly flat but 1 set of woodland steps. Approximate 10 minute riverside walk to the lagoon from the meeting point.
