My story
Hello! I'm Jenny, The Cold Water Therapist and I live with my husband, two Daughters and Miniature Schnauzer in West Lothian, Scotland.

A combination of hugely stressful events some years back, led me to slowly spiral in to one almighty burnout. I felt completely broken, beyond repair. My brain was in utter overdrive and I could barely function.

After several months of turmoil and with a gentle nudge from my free-diving Brother, I discovered the magic of cold water. My first dip silenced the brain chatter, flooded me with dopamine and I realised I had found a way through - a means of control.
This relief sparked my interest and I began to research! Fast-forward to the present day and here I am, The Cold Water Therapist. Qualified in Cold Water Therapy, Open Water Safety & Rescue and Mental Health First Aid & Response.
It is now my mission to promote the reported transformative benefits of cold water, blue spaces and adventure with evidence-based advice and practices that facilitate opportunity for everyone.
I have years of wild swimming experience and hundreds of swims and dips under my belt. My career in teaching flowed naturally into the role of coach, mentor and trainer in the field of Mental Wellness, Resilience and Emotional Intelligence. Lived experience has proved invaluable enabling me to now share all of the positive habits and tools that have helped me.
Swimming outdoors and practicing Cold Water Therapy has been my savior through the process of losing my beloved Mum, and it has been my teacher. It continues to support me through life's changes and challenges.
I want to share, guide and support you too. Whether you are looking for adventure, fun, therapy or all of these;

I've got you.
