Funded Cold Water Therapy Projects

The Cold Therapy Collective is applying to Parkinson's UK for funding to deliver a new programme of outdoor cold water therapy sessions specifically for people with Parkinson's in your area. Your responses will directly inform our funding application and, if successful, the design of the programme itself.

Outdoor activity & Cold Water Therapy

About cold water therapy: Our cold water therapy sessions invite you to gradually immerse yourself in natural settings such as lakes, rivers or the sea. Each session is led by a qualified facilitator and tailored entirely to your comfort level - you decide how far you go. There’s no pressure at any point to push beyond what feels right for you. Many participants describe the experience as both uplifting and calming, as well as a meaningful way to connect with others. Research also suggests it may enhance mood, reduce pain, ease anxiety, improve sleep and support overall wellbeing.
