June, 14 - Sunday - 09:30-11:30am (Join when you can for as little or long as you like) Beach Party, Sea Dip and fundraising games! Join the Cold Therapy Collective for a special summer beach gathering at Silver Sands. As our community grows, sadly, so do the costs of keeping things running, boring things such as the Collective's insurance! We’re hosting this relaxed beach party and guided sea dip to help raise the funds needed to keep our collective going strong. 🌊 What’s Happening - Guided group sea dip - Beach party vibes - Fundraising games - Community connection - & sunshine (hopefully!) There’s no fixed ticket price. This is a pay-what-you-can event. * Completion of the Cold Water Safety Induction is required for all guided experiences. The Theory of the Cold Water Safety Induction is now available online for those who prefer to learn at their own pace or cannot attend an in-person induction. Visit Education in the website menu and select Essential Guide to Cold Water Therapy & Wild Swimming (Cold Water Safety Induction). * It is always recommended to get a medical check up before starting cold water therapy *Guided sea dip open to anyone in the Cold Therapy Collective Community *What to bring, where to meet and everything you need to know will be detailed in your confirmation email. *The water is cold! Consider wearing a wetsuit if you are not acclimatised. *Tow floats essential *Access Information - 5 minute walk from the meeting point (main car park). 1 set of wide steps. Parking is limited but blue badge parking available closer to the beach, avoiding the steps.
