*Meet at Location option, listed as a separate service* Available dates: September 25, Friday - Transport Included - *FULLY BOOKED* Half Day (approx 9am - 3pm incl travel from Linlithgow) Transport included from Linlithgow. First, we head to view the beautiful gorge of the River Garry on the stretch known as 'The Pass of Killiecrankie'. This 18ft wide rock formation gained it's name when soldier, Donald MacBean, leapt across to avoid capture! This guided swim starts on the pebble beach, downstream of the gorge and we aim to swim up to the leap point (conditions allowing). Swimming through thousands-of-years-old rock formations, where the woodlands are renowned for their rich colours - you'll want your camera! Length of time in the water could be up to 30mins. * Completion of the Cold Water Safety Induction is required for all guided experiences. The Theory of the Cold Water Safety Induction is now available online for those who prefer to learn at their own pace or cannot attend an in-person induction. Visit Education in the website menu and select Essential Guide to Cold Water Therapy & Wild Swimming (Cold Water Safety Induction). * It is always recommended to get a medical check up before starting cold water therapy *Transport included from Linlithgow *The water is cold! Wetsuit recommended but not mandatory if you are well acclimatised. *Tow floats are essential. *What to bring, where to meet and everything you need to know will be detailed in your confirmation email. *Access level - Moderate/Difficult. Woodland pathways and steps. Small wall and embankment to scale to access the pool. Depending on water levels a wade across water may be required. Pebble underfoot. Gradual entry in to water.
