We’re heading back to breathtaking Glen Coe in 2026 and this time, we’re exploring brand-new swim locations. Few places rival Glen Coe for raw, dramatic beauty. Towering peaks, crystal-clear waters and that unmistakable Highland atmosphere make it one of the most phenomenal adventure settings in the UK. It’s wild, powerful and unforgettable. However, with popularity comes responsibility. Out of deep respect for this special landscape, we’ll be intentionally avoiding the heavily trafficked and over-publicised swim spots. Our focus will be on discovering quieter waters, places that allow us to experience Glen Coe authentically while helping to protect the areas most impacted by tourism. * Completion of the Cold Water Safety Induction is required for all guided experiences. The Theory of the Cold Water Safety Induction is now available online for those who prefer to learn at their own pace or cannot attend an in-person induction. Visit Education in the website menu and select Essential Guide to Cold Water Therapy & Wild Swimming (Cold Water Safety Induction). * It is always recommended to get a medical check up before starting cold water therapy *TRANSPORT IS INCLUDED from Linlithgow. *Allow up to 5 hours in Glencoe to include travel between locations and plenty of dips! *If you're a group of 3 or 4, a bespoke date can be arranged. *Access level - Moderate - Some walls and uneven, boggy terrain to scale. Total walking involved is approximatley 1 hour and never more than 25minutes at a time. Minimal incline. Some pools require a slight scramble down embankment/across rocks. We will visit a variety of pools. As always, dynamic risk assessment shall be ongoing and I will select those safest to access and dip in. We will continually assess our individual states of well-being and will only dip within our limits. *The water is cold!. Tow floats for some dips are essential (I can loan these). Consider wearing a wetsuit if you are not acclimatised. *What to bring, where to meet and everything you need to know will be detailed in your confirmation email. *PLEASE NOTE - exact swim & dip locations will vary each trip depending on weather and conditions. *FITNESS LEVEL* - this session requires a good level of fitness, flexibility and mobility.
