Service Description

Cold Water Safety Induction - Completion of the Cold Water Safety Induction is required for all other guided experiences. *NEW* The Cold Water Safety Induction is now available online, or in-person with the online course included. Option 1: The vital safety theory of the induction is now delivered online, allowing you to learn at your own pace. When you book an in-person Cold Water Safety Induction, access to the online course is included with your booking so you can arrive prepared and make the most of the practical session. Available in person induction dates, 2026: 09:30am: Saturday 25, April Saturday 16, May Saturday 18, July Or get in touch directly on the email address below to organise a group session in your area. Option 2: For those who are not local or prefer to learn remotely, the online course is also available as a standalone option. Visit EDUCATION in the website menu and select Essential Guide to Cold Water Therapy & Wild Swimming (Cold Water Safety Induction). What to expect: Discover how to enjoy cold water safely and confidently. This induction introduces the essentials of wild swimming and cold water dipping, including how your body responds to cold, how to manage cold shock, build tolerance safely and recognise when it’s time to get out. You’ll receive evidence-based guidance on safety, equipment, wellbeing benefits and aftercare. Whether you complete the induction online or attend in person, the guidance is designed to support both new and experienced swimmers and dippers. Each in-person session offers one funded place to increase accessibility and The Cold Water Safety Induction is also available, fully funded, via various community groups & charities.
