Service Description

July, 22 - TUESDAY Sea Swim, The Binks - South Queensferry - 14:00pm August, 26 - TUESDAY Avon Lagoon - 18:00pm September, 24 - WEDNESDAY Campsie Glen Waterfall - 10:00am A monthly meet up to build and enhance our swim community. Locations vary from sea swims to loch swims & waterfalls but may be dependent on changing to suit conditions. Transport not provided. You will need your own kit & equipment. If you have not swam outdoors before please book on to one of my Small Group Intro Sessions first. *IMPORTANT* Access information: AVON LAGOON - Less than 10 minute walk from the meeting point. Woodland pathways, 1 set of woodland steps. Pathways can be muddy. CAMPSIE WATERFALL - 10 minute walk from the meeting point. Woodland path. Access to the waterfall is moderate/difficult - rock scrambling required. SILVER SANDS - 5 minute walk from the meeting point. 1 set of wide steps. Parking is limited but available closer to the beach, avoiding the steps. BLACK SANDS - 10 minute walk to the back from recommended car parks. Access to beach down 1 wide set of sandy steps or via a concrete slope. THE BINKS - A minutes walk from Rose Lane car park - across grass and down a small sloped path on to the sandy/pebbly beach. Access in to water is stoney in areas. *The water is cold! Consider wearing a wetsuit if you are not acclimatised. Tow floats for some dips are essential. *What to bring, where to meet, access considerations and everything else you need to know will be detailed in your confirmation email. Bring snacks and the water will provide the joy!
