Two Ripples

Good Cause Project

It's a ripple effect

If you've read My Story you'll know that I have reaped many benefits from outdoor swimming and cold water therapy. 4 years ago I was crippled with self doubt, anxiety and stress. Watching wild swimmers walk past my house to meet their swim friends. Never imagining that one day I would have the opportunity to try and bring cold water joy to others. Cold water has been my saviour.

At the very heart of what I do is a passion to share this with others. Although seen as a

'free thing to do' and 'easy for all to access', outdoor swimming has its barriers. Whether it's financial, social, logistical, physical or confidence related, it's my goal to understand better, and provide opportunity, for everyone to participate.

Currently the business allows me to host an annual fundraiser (the Social Swim), where 100% of all money raised from bookings will fund free places for those who may benefit from, but have barriers to, outdoor swimming and help with the costs (only - non profit) of reaching more people experiencing barriers.

This is a work in progress - check back here regularly as I share how we have helped people discover the magic of water.

I am seeing and hearing amazing feedback from people who start cold water therapy following an Intro Session with me. Let's share it far and wide!

Please Get In Touch if you know of a group or an individual that may benefit from joining a funded session but has barriers to doing it.

01 - Financial Barriers

Funded Places

There is a place on each of my Small Group Intro Sessions for anyone that could benefit from starting cold water therapy but for whom finance is a barrier. This is an ongoing initiative and can be accessed by getting in touch directly. Safety tow floats and neoprene gloves can be loaned for sessions too, reducing your expenditure.

02 - Social Barriers

Community Growth

When my anxiety was at it's worst, I lacked confidence and friendship. Just turning up to join a group of established outdoor swimmers was an unrealistic option! Small, safe, guided intro sessions provide the perfect setting. Everyone who swims with me will then be invited to continue their journeys together via my safe, welcoming community.

If that's too daunting still, reach out for a 1:1

03 - Physical Barriers

Accessibile swim venues

Not every swim location that I use is accessible, sadly that's the honest truth when working in the natural environment. I do however pledge to make sure that swim locations are varied and accessible swim spots for those with physical/mobility barriers, will be utilised.

Each session has a note on accessibility so that you know what to expect.
