Social Swim/Pay it forward - Good cause project Saturday 28th September - 1pm If you've read my story, you'll understand just how much the benefits of cold water therapy have helped me through burnout, anxiety, grief and stress. Over the past year I have been honored to support and observe as many more people discovered cold water joy and a whole variety of different benefits. At the very heart of what I do is a passion to share this with others. Although seen as a 'free thing to do' and 'easy for all to access', outdoor swimming has its barriers. Whether it's financial, physical, social, logistical or confidence related, barriers exist and we can all do our bit to work towards breaking those barriers! Join me for a social swim where 100% of all money raised will fund the good cause project which aims to provide free places, concessions, fundraisers and information access sessions for those in need of them. (All run at cost only - non profit - to provide as much opportunity as possible). It's a great chance for us all to catch up on this annual event, meet new people, relax and enjoy the water together. Pay what you wish from the suggested prices and let's try to share the power of cold water far and wide. Novice wild swimmers are welcome but this is not an intro session. You'll need to bring your own kit - I'll provide the cake! *Access Information 5 minute walk from the meeting point. 1 set of wide steps.
